CEO Coaching and More™ Q & A
Can I attend a few meetings to decide if I’d like to apply?
Before committing your time and money, you’ll have questions regarding the program that can be best answered in person. With that in mind, we host a CEO Coaching and More Meet & Greet event prior to the start of each track. Applicants meet program staff, coaches, former CEO Coaching and More alumni, our stakeholders, partners and other affiliates in an informal happy hour setting. This way you can evaluate the program in an up close and personal way to answer all of your questions and ensure it’s a good fit for you prior to the start of the program.
To maintain the integrity and consistency of the program, each participant who is accepted to the CEO Coaching and More program must commit to complete the full five-month track for which they were accepted. This adds value for all of the participants and it is the only way to receive the full benefits the program has to offer.
How is the program structured?
CEO Coaching and More consists of two five-month tracks: Track 1 runs from October to February. Track 2 runs from April to August. Once accepted, you may choose to participate in one or both tracks, which allows you to complete the track that best fits your business needs at the time.
For example, if when you finish Track 1 your business moves into a rapid growth stage or you need time to implement and evaluate your new strategies, which prevents you from being able to immediately move into track 2, you can return the following year and take track 2 when it’s offered again.
What if I cannot attend a session?
If you are unable to attend a CEO Coaching and More training workshop or event, please contact the program coordinator with as much advance notice as possible. Participants always have the available option of sending another senior executive from their organization to attend in their place.
How am I matched with my business coach?
Though each coach has a specific area of expertise, they all have a proven track record of professional success. You’ll be paired with a coach who is uniquely suited to your industry and goals. Together you’ll decide where and how often you’ll meet, as well as on a business development plan customized to your company.
When will I meet my business coach?
Each track begins with a Kick Off event where members are introduced, business resources and tools are addressed, and coaches are announced.
How much information regarding the specifics of my business do I have to share?
While we encourage you to be engaged, open and candidly discuss your business, you are never obligated to share beyond your comfort level.
You decide what to share and when. It is natural for interaction to increase as participants become familiar with the program and one another. Any information that you do share is protected by the confidentiality agreement all members are required to sign and abide by.
How much time is required to complete a track?
Typically, participants spend one afternoon a month attending program events. In addition to meeting the eligibility requirements, we ask applicants to realistically consider whether or not they can spend time on growing their businesses outside of the office. The learning process is intertwined with exchanging knowledge with peers.
Your attendance is mandatory not only because it is necessary to achieve the results you expect, but you also have valuable and unique insights from your own business and experience that are important to the group. The success-driven environment we strive for requires participants’ commitment to be there.
Take the next step toward your business growth! Align yourself with the business resources and relationships that yield results in your business.
